A recent study in Saudi Arabia among 310 diabetic patients (55% women) found that 45.2% of them skipped breakfast, and 20% ate late at night.

Skipping breakfast was linked to higher BMI. Surprise, surprise.

Over 77% of the participants were either overweight or obese, and a whopping 75% weren’t meeting their blood sugar targets.

What does this mean for you? Skipping breakfast isn’t just about hunger pangs at 11 a.m.—it’s nudging you closer to higher cholesterol, elevated blood sugar, and even heart disease risk.

Here are the ground rules:

The study showed that those who ate a proper morning meal felt 33% fuller during the day And get this—people who made breakfast their biggest meal saw better blood sugar control and more stable energy.

Experts say if you’re not hungry in the morning, it’s just your body being too used to skipping. Trust me, it’ll adjust once you start feeding it right.
